(Born on September 21, 1981) Nicole Richie is the adopted daughter of famous singer Lionel Richie. she was looked after by the Richie's since she was only 2-years old but not legally adopted by them until she was 9-years old. After that Nicole;s adoption was formalized. Because of her problems in childhood she began attending weekly sessions with a psychotherapist and remained in therapy throughout her childhood. After that Richie started kindergarten at The Buckley School in Sherman Okas, California where she meet Paris Hilton. She graduated from Montclair College Preparatory School in 1999.
